Does the bone broth arrive frozen?

The bone broth will leave our premise frozen. Depending on where you are located, the bone broth will arrive cold to partially frozen.

How long is it good for?

Up to One Year in the freezer or up to Two Weeks if the bone broth is well stored in the fridge before use. Because we don't use any preservatives, we would highly recommend that you finish your refrigerated bone broth within Four to Five days once you start using your bone broth.

How do you keep it cool during delivery?

Your frozen bone broth is packed in an reusable insulated bag to ensure it keeps cool while making its way to you.

Why do you deliver it frozen?

We do not use preservatives hence we deliver it frozen. Depending on where you are located or delivery method, the bone broth will arrive cold to partially frozen.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Unfortunately not for now. We deliver mainly within the Klang Valley (KV). We will be looking to expand outside the KV soon! Stay tuned!

What are your delivery charges?

Do I receive my bone broth on the same day upon receiving a message from the delivery service company?

To keep delivery charges affordable, we use a shared delivery service. Your bone broth would often reach you within the same day or will be delivered the following day (or at its soonest) should there be any unforeseen delivery challenges i.e. rain, breakdowns etc. However, you can be rest assured that your bone broth are kept in freezers in our delivery partner's warehouses before it makes its way to you.

Why do you include a layer of cling wrap in between the cover and the tub?

We included a layer of cling wrap to retain the freshness.

How do I use it?

Your bone broth can be used for cooking soups, porridge, stews, pasta, stir fry vegetables, meats or can be consumed as it is; pretty much anything you can think of!

Why is there a layer of fat on my bone broth?

We deliberately left the lovely layer of healthy fat on top because some of our consumers like the creamy rich flavour it provides. It essentially also seals it from air and if you keep this layer of fat intact, your bone broth will retain its freshness for longer. You can very easily remove the layer of fat in its 'jell-o' form by skimming it with a spoon or spatula if you like. However, once you break the 'seal', so to speak, you will want to consume the bone broth within two weeks.

How do I thaw it?

The best way is to put the frozen bone broth in the refrigerator and let it simply defrost overnight. Alternatively, if you are in a hurry, you can run the container under cold water to loosen, then empty the contents into a pot and bring it to a simmer.

Why does my bone broth look like jelly when refrigerated?

Bone broth contains collagen which is a protein found in connective tissue on meats and bones and with prolong cooking, it dissolves producing a fine bouncy gelatin when cooled or refrigerated. The best kind of bone broth is jiggly and gelatinous!

Can I refreeze it later?

Definitely! However, we would recommend for you to thaw your bone broth in the refrigerator and refreezing them in ice-cube trays so that you can use it more easily later.

Does your bone broth contain sugar, gluten or dairy?

No.

How much sodium is in your bone broth?

Just a light sprinkle per 3L just for taste and we use only mineral rich Himalayan Pink Salt.

How soon do you deliver?

We make our bone broth from scratch. We aim to deliver within three (3) to seven (7) days upon confirming your orders.

What if my orders are damaged or lost in delivery?

We advice you to check your products thoroughly before acknowledging the courier's receipt of delivery. Should you find that the products are damaged or missing, do not accept delivery. Detail the damage or loss on the courier's delivery receipt, and send them back. You should then call to inform us and we will arrange for a replacement upon verifying your claims with the delivery company.

What's in your chicken bone broth?

Fresh roasted free range antibiotic free chicken bones with plenty of cartilage and other connective tissue, carrots, onions, leek, a pinch of black peppercorn and a light sprinkle of Himalayan pink salt.

How is your bone broth different?

Taste. We use 100% fresh ingredients and simmer these ingredients in an almost equal amount of water (1:1 ratio). We feel that our process is right to ensure maximum nutrient density with maximum flavour in every tub you order.
